We would ask for your patience while we work hard to deliver your building, as it may take longer than it would do normally, but we hope you will understand in the current circumstances. To safeguard our Tiger family, we have implemented appropriate safe working practices and social distancing, following government advice. Measures such as spacing out our workshop benches, alternating work patterns so only half our teams are in at once, ensuring sanitizing equipment is available and requiring stringent cleaning routines, to help our staff stay safe. These steps cover transport too, with just one-person-delivery as standard and no requirement for your signature as proof of receipt. As our working patterns have changed in line with government guidance, this continues to affect our production times.
However, the ongoing pandemic situation has affected many other businesses too. This has reduced the availability of wooden buildings right across the market in the UK. As we mill our own slow-grown high-grade timber, and have a select group of trusted partners, we are able to continue to make our buildings by hand, here in our Yorkshire workshop. While the flow of raw materials may slow our schedule down, our ranges are still available to order and deliver – unlike many of our competitors.
While production processes have been affected by current conditions, we have reviewed every model to provide accurate and reliable lead times across the collection, according to size, style and complexity. We constantly monitor these and use every opportunity to improve them for each order.
