Featuring shiplap cladding and interlocking boards for added weather resistance, our tongue and groove sheds promise to be strong, reliable and durable for many years to come. Built to last, you'll find tongue and groove sheds in a range of designs here at Tiger Sheds.
Tongue and groove sheds showcase a quality construction and an attractive appearance. Constructed from premium timber that is planed to a smooth, 12mm finish, our tongue and groove sheds are our most popular buildings. Whether you’re looking for a small or large shed, our unbeatable range of sizes is sure to include the right option for your garden.
We stock sheds perfect for storage of tools, equipment, bikes, furniture or anything else. All our tongue and groove sheds feature shiplap cladding with a slight profile to enable water run-off. As standard, our sheds are supplied with high grade, heavy duty mineral felt for weatherproof protection. Our heavyweight 28x44mm framework supports and strengthens the buildings.
As with all our buildings, our T&G sheds are free from chipboard, OSB and other inferior materials.
If we didn't build it, we don't sell it. We're proud to say that every garden building is made in our
own mill in Leeds. This gives us complete control over the manufacturing, from start to finish, so we
can ensure only top-grade timber makes the cut. Our expert craftspeople and precision machinery mean
our sheds and log cabins are built to the highest quality – Tigers always stay sharp.
10 Year Guarantee
We offer 10-year protection against general timber rot and decay. That said, many people find
our sheds last for around 25 years, because we build them to be the toughest around. We treat
our timber with a specially formulated preservative, developed over many years – for a
weatherproof, lifeproof seal. We call this protective stain our Tiger Skin. It's our iconic
mark of quality. It's why, along with our expert 8-point quality check, that spans from forest
to factory, you can trust a Tiger to survive.
Uniquely protected to stand the test of time
We’re not afraid to say it – our sheds aren’t the cheapest. But they’re the best value. You get what
you pay for. Here are just few of the features you only get with a Tiger:
Thicker wood cladding: Ours is 9mm (overlap) and 12mm (shiplap tongue-and-groove). Both far thicker than the industry standard.
Thicker frames: At least 44x28mm – twice as thick as others. Because thicker frames mean tougher sheds.
Fully-boarded roof and floors: Using flakeboard (OSB) chipboard would be cheaper, but it would also be more likely to rot and sag. So, we don't
Rounded-corner frames: Rough cut frames are prone to warping, splitting and giving splinters. So, we take the time to round each one.
Higher roofs: Tiger's don't stoop so our roofs let you stand tall – even our eaves are a healthy height.
Pre-hung doors: You can put up your Tiger without hanging around.
We only use slow-grown, high-grade FSC-accredited European softwood, sawn in our own mill so we can oversee the quality. Better for you, better for the planet.
