CHARITY OF THE YEAR!
HospiceLogo

We're delighted to announce that we have chosen St Gemma's Hospice as our official Charity of the Year.

St Gemma's has cared for hundreds of patients each year at their hospice in Leeds, and supported thousands more with
expert community palliative care across the city and beyond. Their commitment to dignity, compassion and support for
patients vital care, facing life-limiting illnesses is at the heart of everything they do.

St Gemma's relies heavily on community generosity - only a portion of their £15 million annual running costs comes from
government funding. That's why we believe it's important to play our part. We're aiming to raise as much as we can - to help
provide vital care, support families, and give back to our local community in Leeds and beyond.

HOW WE'LL HELP - AND HOW YOU CAN JOIN IN

We are launching a series of fundraising events and activities to support St Gemma's work. Whether it's through collections,
charity events, donating items, or even passing along recycling - every bit helps.

We also encourage you to explore how St Gemma's works, so you can understand and perhaps share why this charity
matters. If you'd like to support them directly as a volunteer, shopper, fundraiser or donor - their doors are open.

SMALL ACTIONS MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE

Choosing St Gemma's Hospice reflects what many of us believe: that care, dignity and support for people in difficult times
matter. By raising money and awareness, we hope to help people in our local community have access to the kind of
compassionate care they deserve - at a time when it matters most.

Thank you for your generosity, your kindness, and for helping us make a difference.
