Shed of the year landing collage

"What started as a bit of fun twenty years ago has grown into something truly remarkable. Shed Of The Year isn't just about
garden buildings - it's about celebrating the extraordinary creativity and ingenuity of ordinary people across Britain. Every year,
I'm blown away by the sheer imagination out entrants bring to these structures.

We've seen everything from micro-distilleries to Roman temples, from pirate pubs to eco-havens with living roofs. What makes
this competition special is that it gives people a platform to share their passion projects, their sanctuaries, their workshops, and
their dreams. These aren't just sheds - they're extensions of people's personalities, reflections of their values, and often the result
of hundreds of hours of love and labour. The community that's built up around the competition is equally special. Sheddies from
all walks of life, united by their love of these remarkable spaces. That's what keeps me going after two decades."
