Tiger Heavyweight Workshop | Heavy Duty Framing is strong and heavy duty, thanks to its added framework strength - ideal for machinery, working or just storage or even as a hobby room. This large model comes in a range of generous sizes, each benefiting from extra high eaves height. Its superior grade tongue and groove shiplap cladding embodies rigidity and security. This 12mm finish shiplap cladding comprises of selected European softwood, protected with TigerSkin water based treatment. The roof of the Tiger Heavyweight Workshop is covered with a layer of heavy duty black mineral felt for further protection. The heavy duty rounded four corner framework and a heavy duty roof truss provides extra durability to this great workshop - and the extra thickness of the framing also allows more depth for adding extra insulation if required. THIS HEAVY DUTY WORKSHOP SHED is clad with high grade 12mm finish shiplap tongue and groove cladding – beware of sheds that feature poorly finished rough edged boards milled out of inferior timber often with a thinner finish.
THIS HEAVY DUTY WORKSHOP SHED features thick tongue and grooved floorboard in the floor and roof sections and contains NO cheap sheet materials such as OSB or chipboard – beware of sheds that use single piece OSB / chipboard roofs that offer little protection in the areas where you need it most.
THIS HEAVY DUTY WORKSHOP SHED retains our extra high ridge height – beware of sheds that are incredibly low making it difficult to stand up inside.
It is essential that this garden shed is assembled strictly in accordance with the instructions supplied on a firm and level base constructed from a suitably durable material. The garden shed should also be treated shortly after assembly and then annually thereafter with an appropriate high quality preservative and all glazing units must be sealed, inside and out, with silicone or other water tight sealant.

Tiger buildings are constructed with shiplap cladding, which is superior tongue & groove timber board with a flush-fit finish. Each solid plank is 12mm thick with scalloping to help prevent water ingress. A smooth, solid, strong barrier pre-treated to meet our high quality standards.
All Tiger sheds are made with tongue & groove timber boards throughout – no cheap and crumbly OSB board at all (unlike some companies we could mention). Our timber is sustainably sourced. We use slow grown European softwood, cut in our woodmill to a high grade.
Tiger garden buildings come with TigerFelt® as standard. This is a thicker, polyester-backed high-grade mineral felt to provide a reliable, weatherproof barrier with reduced wear and tear. Only premium quality roofing felt will do!
We use slow-grown timber in our framing to provide the sturdy support your shed needs. Sustainably sourced, it’s over an inch thick, and rounded for a smoother finish. Slow-grown timber is better quality, and the heavy duty 56x44mm thickness will help the building stand tougher for longer.
All Tiger buildings come with solid, coated steel fittings for a secure, elegant finish for your peace of mind. Unlike many competitors, all Tiger buildings come with a free door pull as standard.
Beware of imitations which use cheaper styrene plastic windows (which tend to ‘mist’ over time). All Tiger windowed sheds & summerhouse come with 3mm thick toughened glass as standard. This glazing is more shock and heat resistant than normal shed windows, making your Tiger all the more durable. TigerFlex® models also arrive with the glass pre-fitted, making assembly even easier!
We treat our timber with TigerSkin, a specially formulated preservative, developed over many years – for a non-greasy weatherproof seal. This pre-treatment applied to the wood and then carefully dried to give your shed an extra layer of protection 365 days a year.
Your Tiger garden building is simple to put together, using the helpful instructions available, and will look great on a firm & level base constructed from a suitably durable material. We also offer an installation service for all Tiger log cabins.
