If DIY is not your strong point then fear not because our professional home installation service will do it all for you! The pro-install team will contact you soon after the delivery of your log cabin to arrange a suitable time and date for the fitting.

A Firm and Level base must be in place and accessible before installation can take place - failure to provide this may incur additional costs. Pro-Installation  does not include the fitting of any extras such as locks or handles, and windows will be tacked into place only. Standard cabin installation does not cover the installation of roof shingles. If you purchase a cabin with shingles and would like the shingles to be installed in addition to the building itself you must also add on the 'shingle installation' option at additional cost.

Please note: Pro-Installation will not take place at the time of delivery of your garden building. Our installation team will contact you separately to arrange a date to install your building.

Tiger Sheds strongly recommends that your garden shed be treated shortly after assembly and then annually thereafter with an appropriate high-quality preservative. Tiger garden sheds come pretreated with a water-based preservative in Burnt Orange for storage and transport purposes. A log cabin comes untreated. However, we do recommend that you retreat your garden building with a high-quality solvent-based wood preserver, and we offer various types and colours of treatment to treat the shed yourself. Our very own high quality TigerSkin preserver offers maximum protection of your garden shed or fence, manufactured by preserver specialists AChem. Our solvent-based wood treatment will penetrate deep into the wood giving years of protection against the weather. It will enhance timber grain with a rich long-lasting protection. A water repellent formula which is harmless to plants when dry. 

Tiger garden buildings are supplied with a high-quality, polyester-backed felt roof covering as standard. However, there are alternatives to this depending on the finish you desire.

Roof Shingles are a very popular option as these create a tiled effect for the roof with a selection of colours. The shingles are a heavy-duty felt material with a bitumen backing. Shingles will be supplied with rolls of felt to be used as an underlay.

EPDM is a rubber roofing option and is growing in popularity as an almost maintenance-free, long-lasting roof covering. With an expected lifespan of 50 years or more, it's designed to last. No felt is supplied with the EPDM option as it is not required.

Heavy duty green mineral roofing felt does come with your log cabin as standard but why not complete the look of your log cabin by adding on some additional roof shingles in your choice of colour. Our premium quality roof shingles are available in green, red, brown or slate colours. The shingles we provide are possibly the best quality shingles available. They have adhesive on the back and are nailed into the roof boards. Our roofing shingles, manufactured by IKO, are typically used for houses and have a 40% bitumen rate.

In general, if your log cabin is within 2m of a boundary and is over 2.5m high, you may require planning permission. This varies in different councils so speak to your local planning office for more information.

However, if you do want us to make your log cabin under 2.5m we can lower the pitch of the roof for no extra cost!

Our log cabins are, in general, extremely high at both the eaves and at the ridge providing maximum usable space within a given footprint base size. Many other companies make all their buildings under 2.5m as standard. For those customers who require a lower height, we can offer to reduce this height on the majority of our log cabins for no extra cost i.e. we give you the most possible cabin for your money and allow you a choice if you need to reduce it! Other companies give you no choice at all.

Almost every log cabin within the 28mm and 44mm ranges can be modified to fit the door and window type or style of choice from the options listed below. Full pane contemporary styled windows and doors come with toughened glass as standard. PVC option window and doors come as standard double glazed with toughened glass. Please note that unless specified your log cabin will be supplied with the standard style of doors and windows for that range as illustrated in the main photograph.

Upgrade your cabin's professional joiner made windows. Tick the toughened glass box (if available) to ensure safety and peace of mind. Note: Log cabins with full pane windows come with toughened glass as standard. Alternatively, you can upgrade your log cabin's professional joiner made windows from single to double glazing for additional warmth, insulation, and security. Or tick them both for a toughened and double glazing option!

Make your Log Cabin complete with this black easy fit guttering system. Guttering will go on both sides of the log cabin.

The guttering is pre-attached to a board which is simply nailed to the top log on the underside of the roof. There is then a downward pipe that fits in at the corner of the log cabin which allows the water to run to the ground.

Our 28 and 44mm log cabins come as standard with a high security 3 lever lock. However, to make it extra safe why not upgrade to a high level security 5 lever lock.

Improve the aesthetics of your garden building by selecting from a range of flower beds and planters to give your plants a home they deserve. The 28mm thick planters have the dimensions 600(W) x 600(L) x 385(H) mm. The raised flower beds are comprised of 19mm thick logs.

Add a touch of style to your wooden garden building with the stylish door handle - available as a standard black door handle or an antique black door handle. Constructed from long lasting cast iron and completed with durable black powder coated finish this handle is made to last.

Other door options include (on selected models) upgrading to double doors or an extra wide door for better access, upgrade to a stable door, and making the door left hand hinged.

Customise your doors to be placed on the side that's right for you. Just select which door option suits you best. It's worth noting that our doors are always hung with the hinges on the right hand side as standard. This is available for Pent, Deluxe (Extra High) and Hybrid Apex ranges only.
