We're Now Members of the FHIO: Here's What That Means for You
We’re delighted to announce that Tiger is now a full member of the Furniture and Home Improvement Ombudsman (FHIO) scheme. In this post, we explain what the FHIO is – and most importantly, what it means for you and all our customers.
What is the FHIO?
The FHIO is a government-approved, non-profit organisation that specialises in Alternative Dispute Resolution for customers and businesses. Set up to help reach a fair and reasonable outcome to any dispute, the FHIO achieves this by looking at the evidence from both sides before making a ruling (where possible). Members of the FHIO scheme must abide by any decision from the FHIO – which means that Tiger is also bound by its outcomes.
Why is Tiger joining the FHIO?
We always strive to provide great products and customer service – and we’ve made great strides in recent times. That’s why we won two Direct Commerce Awards in 2021 – the panel recognised our continuing commitment to quality and to our customers. In the unlikely event that you do have an issue, our dedicated customer service team is here to try and resolve it as quickly as possible. And it’s with this commitment in mind that we’ve joined the FHIO. So, in the unlikely event that you ever have any issues with your Tiger building or our service, you can seek the help of the FHIO to resolve them.
How does it work?
If you do have a concern, please contact Tiger customer support team first. Call us between 9am and 5pm Monday-Friday on 0113 2054189, or email email@example.com. Alternatively, you can use the Contact form on our website. We will do our very best to provide a solution. If, after all our efforts to resolve your issue, you are still not satisfied and we cannot agree a resolution with you, we will send you our final response (also known as a ‘deadlock notice’). This will outline our final stance on the issue. If you receive a notice like this, or 12 weeks have passed since you first registered your complaint, you can then seek a resolution. To do this, you can call the FHIO’s Consumer and Member Services team on 0333 241 3209, go through the FHIO’s portal here, or you can ask us to refer the matter to the FHIO on your behalf.
Our commitment to you
We always do our best to make sure you’re satisfied with both your Tiger garden building and the service you receive from us. The overwhelming majority of our customers are very satisfied by our service. That’s why we have so many positive reviews on Trustpilot, Google and Reviews.io. Customer satisfaction is also one reason why we are rated as the Number One Garden Shed Retailer by Whatshed.co.uk. With this in mind, we’re confident you won’t ever need the help of the FHIO. But you can shop with us with the full peace of mind and security of knowing that we’re members of the ombudsman scheme.
