All Tiger cabin logs are designed to interlock with a chamfered finish to ensure a snug fit. The unique four-way chamfered notch system is specially designed to prevent damp or wind penetration. A smooth, solid, strong barrier engineered to meet our high quality standards.
Our timber is sustainably sourced. We use slow grown European softwood, cut in our own sawmill to a high grade. Each log fits tongue and groove for strength and solidity, and is cut to an 0.01mm tolerance. The extra thick 44mm logs have a double tongue and groove for an even firmer link.
Tiger garden buildings come with TigerFelt® as standard. This is a thicker, polyester-backed high-grade mineral felt to provide a reliable, weatherproof barrier with reduced wear and tear. Only premium quality roofing felt will do!
Joiner-made doors and windows are supplied fully glazed or boarded, and all external doors are fitted with mortice locks, with double glazing, 5-lever locks and roof shingles upgrades also available.
From just adding an extra window, to something completely original, our expertise means we can help you add your personality into your perfect space. As we mill the timber ourselves, we can be much more flexible than the competition – and much more creative!
Beware of imitations- log cabins which use cheaper styrene plastic windows (which tend to ‘mist’ or shatter easily over time). All Tiger log cabins come with 4mm thick toughened glass as standard. This glazing is more shock and heat resistant than horticultural glass in many other buildings, making your Tiger all the more durable.

Your Tiger log cabin is simple to put together, using the helpful instructions and videos available, and will look great on a firm & level base constructed from a suitably durable material. All Tiger Log Cabins are supplied completely untreated as a standard.
The Logs are cut to be such a precise and tight fit that if we were to treat the Logs prior to assembly, a build up of treatment or swelling of the logs with absorption of treatment may result in the Logs not fitting together correctly.
You will need to treat the Cabin thoroughly inside and out as soon as possible after assembly to validate the Timber Guarantee and prevent any absorption or ingress of water into the Log Cabin.
We offer the Tiger Sheds Preserver which would be suitable for this. However, any good quality waterproofing wood treatment will suffice.
At the point of order you can request certain delivery dates but we wouldn't be able to confirm until later in the process. We do ask that if you have any deadlines for the building to be received, we are informed as early as possible in the process. If there is any issue with meeting a specific date for delivery we would contact you to let you know.

As well as choosing the design, you also have a few options when it comes to the roof of your log cabin shed.
Log cabins with an apex roof design are topped with two slopes that form the traditional stylish ‘A’ shape, and can provide slightly increased headroom, and vertical storage space.
Alternatively, garden log cabins with a pent roof have a contemporary flat shape – this is sometimes a more budget-friendly option, and these rooms can be simpler to clean too.
