Kale and Leeks 8

Discover some delicious recipes on how to cook with Kale and Leeks.

Last year, we took a look at recipes to give inspiration on how to cook with kale. Best grown in frosty weather, kale is at its freshest and tastiest in the months starting a new year. Virtually flat free and low in calories, kale is an excellent source of nutrients and vitamins and a great choice for those wanting to enjoy a healthy balanced diet. A great source of vitamin C, leeks are an easy way to enjoy one of your five a day – with around half a large leek (80g) counting as one portion. A source of the B vitamin folate, leeks can aid the production of red blood cells, and help to maintain a healthy immune system.
