Unique places to stay!

Bored of going on the same type of holiday, year in, year out?

From luxury treehouses, quirky boats and ‘knights glamping’ sites, here are some of the most unique places that you can stay this summer…

The Treehouse

Very cool and luxurious!

One of the great things about this is that they do the Treehouse up to suit your requirements. For example, if you have children then they will ensure that there’s activities and DVDs prepared for them, which we think is such a nice personal touch.

We love the idea that you could come here and just be completely secluded with whoever you want to be with and in such stunning surroundings. Bliss.

Zoo Experience – Lookout Lodge

This is pretty much a once-in-a-lifetime-opportunity, as you get to sleep next to the white rhinos, peering at them from the bedroom window whilst enjoying home comforts.

This experience also includes lots of complimentary fun things such as two days free entry at the zoo, sunset tours and dinner/breakfast.

Gloria the boat!

We really like this idea as it’s definitely a unique way to explore a little more of the UK.

The company which own this boat even teach you how to use the boats properly, offer advice on what routes to take and make sure you feel comfortable to go off on your own!

We also really like the stylish interior of the boat, which is a little more modern than other boats which offer a similar service. If you like the sound of this then head over to Star Narrowboat Holidays here.

Retro Vacations

If you’re a fan of everything vintage then you will love this! The whole campsite is filled with a variation of retro caravans, which all look amazing!

We love that this is just one small campsite close to the countryside with stunning seaside towns nearby!

If you fancy going retro then check out the Happy Days Retro Vacations for more info here.

Knights Glamping

The idea is to ‘glamp’ like a Medieval knight would have done before battle! Not something you do every day…

These tents are filled with luxurious four poster beds, warming wood burning stoves and free access to Leeds Castle during your entire stay, not bad at all!

We really like the idea of not having to purchase any camp gear, you just turn up with your feast and friends and enjoy a unique experience. Check out the Leeds Castle website here.

Cornish Tipi Holidays

Imagine waking up and going for a nice swim in the refreshing and secluded lake whilst listening to the birds sing, sounds good to us!

We really want to stay in a Tipi and this looks like the perfect campsite to give it a whirl.

This would make a great holiday if you’re looking for a camping trip but fancy something a little bit out of the ordinary! Check out their website for more information here.

Hobbit Pods

How cute are these! This would be the perfect way to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and get back in touch with nature. Very good idea for people who are obsessed with The Lord of the Rings!

Woodland Hide Unidome

This is a 360 degree clear panoramic dome with stunning woodland views surrounding it! Amazing.

It’s the ultimate relaxation spot, perfect for gazing at stars at night and chilling out with friends.

For people looking for something really different this is one to to try!

Head over to Camp Katur here for more information.
